Hi Raymond, thank you for your feedback.  I'm hoping you tin analyze.  I realize it is skilful exercise to back up the folders, but what I am specifically looking to understand is if the account re-creation procedure (on the Outlook PC software) will actively pull emails from all subfolders and sent mail stored within Outlook.com (i.e. I am worried it will only repopulate the inbox).  I assume this to be the case, just want to confirm.

Hey Jason, did you always remove your outlook account in question, and on re adding, were the folders at that place and populated correctly? I don't sympathise how to 'back up to pst' so was merely interested to know if yous took the plunge and did it!

Hi Zoe, yes, all of the folders were repopulated properly, it worked.  Equally a safety measure, I copied my .pst file and renamed it .bak.  The pst files are located in different places depending on the operating system version beingness used (practise a quick search online to file where yours are located).
